Fishing

Fishing for Rainbow trout in one of the many smaller lakes.
The many lakes and the Morice River give plenty of choice for every angler for an excellent fishing vacation. Rainbow trout, lake trout, Dolly Varden, kokanee, cutthroat are the most common fish species in the lakes. The bellyboat is an excellent choice for fishing in the smaller lakes.
The Morice River is only a 45 minutes drive from Wild Rose Camp with excellent fishing for salmon and steelhead. Salmon season starts in July, for chinook, later in summer for coho- and pinksalmon. Steelhead season starts late august. The Morice River has - like most of the lakes - good accessibility by car with plenty of good fishing spots.
